Level 1 Helpdesk/Technical Support

TEXAS

TX – Dallas:

Description

Almost 10 years ago, we came to the realization that far too many dentists were unfulfilled, over-stressed, burned out, and far from realizing the financial rewards or quality of life that we knew were possible. Our experience was confirmed by a 1996 ADA survey showing that some 46% of dentists regretted their decision to enter the profession, and would do something different with their lives if they could do it over again. Our dental clients confirmed that they really didn’t enjoy the administrative and management issues that came along with private practice. However, if given the option, and the ability to maintain their income, the vast majority said they would much rather have someone else take over those obligations. They wanted to focus on their patients and their clinical dentistry without all the other distractions.

The person working this position responds to all incoming requests for IT support, analyzes and troubleshoots the requests then responds accordingly. Additionally they will document, maintain, upgrade or replace hardware and software systems. They may also be asked to support and maintain user account information including rights, security and systems groups on occasion.

The ideal candidate has the following traits:

  • An obsession with “Customer Service”
  • A penchant for details
  • An unrelenting sense of responsibility
  • An unquenchable desire to learn
