R. Kirk Huntsman
Chief Executive Officer
Mr.
Huntsman has been actively involved in dentistry since 1988 when he acquired
the Dallas / Ft. Worth franchise for AFTCO Associates, a dental practice
brokerage and management firm. Within two years the DFW franchise was
among the top franchises in the nation, and Mr. Huntsman expanded his
franchise into Houston and most of Texas.
Mr. Huntsman has been directly or indirectly involved in the transition
of approximately 380 dental practices. He has lectured widely on the subject
of practice transition and management, and has written numerous articles
on issues related to the business side of dentistry. He is the author
of two highly acclaimed books on practice transitions and career options
published in 1995. ("Practice Transition Guidebook,"
and "In Search of Dentistry's Holy Grail")
In 1995, Mr. Huntsman co-founded Dental One, a dental practice management
company (DPM) dedicated to eliminating the high costs, excessive debt,
and undue stress that comes with private solo practice.
Under Mr. Huntsman’s leadership and direction, Dental One is today
widely regarded as a national leader in the rapidly growing DPM industry.
Mr. Huntsman is a founding member of a consortium of select CEOs within
the industry who collectively represent close to a billion dollars in
revenues.
Mr. Huntsman is a 1981 graduate of Brigham Young University's Marriott
School of Management with a B.S. degree in Finance. He is married with
four children.
Peter Grumbos, DDS,
FAGD
Chief Clinical Officer
Owner of Network Provider Associates, P.C.
Dr.
Grumbos is a 1971 graduate of University of Detroit: School of Dentistry.
His career blends 32 years of experience in dental practice with 14 years
as the owner of several McDonald's restaurants.
In connection with his McDonald's franchises, Dr. Grumbos was extensively
involved in the Dallas / Fort Worth Advertising Association, and served
on numerous franchisee committees and boards. His organization was selected
by McDonald's to provide comprehensive management training to new franchisees.
He is thus familiar with the need for rigorous systems and controls, as
well as the need for excellent people skills in operating a service business.
Dr. Grumbos has been a tremendous asset to our management team ever since
his arrival in late 1997. Not only has he made a significant investment
in the company, but he worked without pay for the several months virtually
full time, and has earned the respect of management, doctors, and staff
personnel. He is truly a team player and a great advocate for all affiliated
doctors.
As the owner of Network Provider Associates, Dr. Grumbos is responsible
for our doctor relations, continuing education programs, peer review-malpractice
risk management issues, clinical technology evaluations, and certain other
doctor-related issues. Dr Grumbos has created the orthodontic training
program with it's OrthoExpert second opinion program. Dr. Grumbos is also
an integral part of the operations team at Dental One.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association,
the Fort Worth District Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and
the International Association Of Orthodontics. Network Provider Associates,
P.C. is the entity which actually employs the professional staff and contracts
directly with Dental One for turn-key practice management services.
Keith Miller
Chief Operating Officer
Keith
Miller is a 1992 graduate of Ohio University with a BBA in Marketing.
Prior to joining Dental One, Mr. Miller served as the Director of Operations
for ALDI Foods and Yes! Less (a start-up retail organization for the Fleming
companies). He has had over 16 years of executive level leadership responsibility.
Mr. Miller's background includes extensive multi-unit operations with
total P&L responsibility, marketing, Human Resources and real estate
site selection and construction. He has successfully led start-up and
several organizational turnaround opportunities.
Mr. Miller brings with him a proven track record in implementing "Servant
Leadership," a management philosophy pioneered by James C. Hunter
in the book The Servant. Mr. Miller is also instrumental in developing
successful team training, team-building by organizing a cohesive growth
strategy and a leadership vision. He is an enthusiastic hands-on leader
focused on achieving results in a dynamic, customer-oriented work environment.
Daniel Reinheimer
Chief Financial Officer
Mr.
Reinheimer brings to Dental One more than fifteen years of experience
in the field of finance. He is a seasoned business and finance leader
who shares the enthusiasm of Dental One’s executive team to obtain
outstanding market growth and increase profitability. Mr. Reinheimer is
adept in all areas of business development and financial management with
extensive experience developing internal financial processes that optimize
efficiency. We are excited to have Dan aboard at such a key stage in the
growth of Dental One.
Prior to joining Dental One, Mr. Reinheimer was Vice President of Optimization
and Migrations for Level 3 Communications, a telecommunications firm based
in Broomfield, Colorado. Dan Reinheimer developed and led the optimization
of Level 3’s leased communications network involving more than $400
million per year. With a proven track record of reducing operating expenses
and increasing accountability and responsibility within financial management
systems, Mr. Reinheimer brings invaluable experience to Dental One’s
Finance department.
Daniel Reinheimer is a graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis,
and he holds a Masters of Business Administration degree with an emphasis
on corporate finance from the University of Dallas.
